GC 151 Hotel El Ranchero

We got to the hotel just a bit before sunset – always a good thing when traveling west and searching for street signs.  Hotel El Ranchero was built by the brother of movie magnate D. W. Griffith.  It is located in Gallup, NM, and opened on December 17, 1937.  It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
