GC 204 Only the Poles are Left

OK, so we didn’t leave 66 completely behind.  A site within the park commemorates where US-66 used to pass through the Painted Desert.  I scuffed around in the sand a bit, but found no evidence of the old road, leaving only these telephone poles to attest to its former path.
